Courtyard and Ganesh Pol of Amber Fort, JaipurThe most complete Rajasthan tour, unhurried and all by road: the painted havelis of Shekhawati, Bikaner, the Golden City of Jaisalmer and the Sam dunes, Jodhpur, the Ranakpur temples, Udaipur and its lakes, holy Pushkar, Jaipur and, at the end, the Taj Mahal in Agra.
A private tour with your own car and driver for all 15 days, an approved local guide in every city and two nights in the main cities to enjoy them at leisure. It starts and ends in Delhi, with no internal flights.
Your Agra night is placed so that the Taj Mahal visit never falls on a Friday. Tell us your arrival date and we adjust the order of the cities.
Day-by-day plan by road. Driving times are approximate and the order can be adapted to your dates.
Arrive at Delhi International Airport, where your driver waits with a name board, and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest after your flight.
Our team calls you in the afternoon to go through the itinerary and answer any questions.
A full day with your approved guide. In Old Delhi: Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, the Red Fort (outside) and a rickshaw ride through the Chandni Chowk bazaar, then Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.
In New Delhi: Qutub Minar — the world's tallest brick minaret — Humayun's Tomb, India Gate and the Sikh temple of Bangla Sahib.
After breakfast, drive to Mandawa (about 5–6 hours) in the Shekhawati region, known as Rajasthan's "open-air art gallery".
In the afternoon, walk through the town to see its havelis, the mansions of old merchant families covered in painted murals.
After breakfast, drive to Bikaner (about 3.5–4 hours), a desert city founded in the 15th century.
Visit Junagarh Fort, which was never conquered, with palaces decorated with mirrors and paintings. If you like, visit the camel breeding farm outside the city.
After breakfast, drive through the Thar Desert to Jaisalmer (about 5–6 hours). On the way, you can stop at the Karni Mata temple in Deshnok, famous for its sacred rats.
Arrive in Jaisalmer, the golden-sandstone city in the middle of the desert, and check in.
In the morning, visit Jaisalmer Fort, a living fort where families still live among Jain temples and sandstone houses, and the Patwon and Salim Singh havelis, merchant mansions with façades carved like lace. Walk by Gadisar Lake.
In the afternoon, head to the Sam sand dunes (about 40 km) for a camel ride and the sunset over the desert. If you like, have dinner with desert music and dance at a camp.
After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur (about 5 hours).
In the afternoon, visit Mehrangarh Fort, with its palaces and museum, and Jaswant Thada, the white-marble cenotaph of the maharajas. In the evening, stroll through Sardar Market by the Clock Tower.
After breakfast, drive to Udaipur (about 6–7 hours with the visit). On the way, see the 15th-century Jain temples of Ranakpur in a valley of the Aravalli hills: the main temple has 1,444 carved marble pillars, no two alike. Non-Jain visitors are usually allowed in from midday.
Arrive in Udaipur, the City of Lakes, and check in.
In the morning, visit Udaipur's royal palace complex, the largest palace in Rajasthan, on Lake Pichola; Jagdish Temple; and Saheliyon ki Bari, the "Garden of the Maidens".
In the afternoon, a boat ride on Lake Pichola with views of the palaces and islands.
In the evening you can watch the traditional dance show at Bagore ki Haveli (optional).
After breakfast, drive to Pushkar (about 5–6 hours), a small pilgrimage town around a sacred lake lined with ghats.
At sunset, walk the ghats and the bazaar, visit the Brahma Temple — one of the very few in India dedicated to this god — and join the evening prayers by the lake.
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur (about 3 hours) and check in.
In the afternoon, explore the old-city bazaars, famous for textiles, jewellery and crafts, and visit Birla Temple at sunset.
In the morning, Amber Fort, the hilltop fort-palace of the maharajas in the Aravalli hills; you go up by jeep. Photo stop at Jal Mahal, the palace in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.
In the afternoon, the City Palace, still home to the royal family; the Jantar Mantar observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; and the façade of Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds.
End the day in the old-city bazaars, famous for textiles, jewellery and crafts.
After breakfast, drive to Agra (about 5 hours with the visits). On the way, see the Chand Baori stepwell at Abhaneri and Fatehpur Sikri, the red-sandstone imperial city Emperor Akbar built and abandoned a few years later.
Arrive in Agra. Time permitting, watch the sunset over the Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh, across the Yamuna.
Early in the morning, visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, when there are fewer visitors. The white-marble mausoleum Shah Jahan built in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Back to the hotel for breakfast.
Then Agra Fort, the great red-sandstone Mughal fortress, and the Baby Taj (Itimad-ud-Daulah).
In the afternoon, drive back to Delhi on the Yamuna Expressway (about 3.5–4 hours) to your hotel or, if you fly out that night, to the airport.
After breakfast, free time for last-minute shopping, depending on your flight. Your driver takes you to Delhi International Airport.

Excellent tour with lots of memories to take home. Great organisation and guide
Based on my experience Rosa Travel is a serious and honest tour provider with excellent customer service. They responded fast and very honest about all my enquiries and extra wishes before the trip and incorporated all. The car was very clean and in very good condition and the driver also very punctual, reliable and trustworthy. Mr Mohsin, my tour guide was excellent, with local knowledge that only someone who has been doing this tour for almost every day in the past 10 years can have. Needless to say that I did not even see a queue. He also had a great knowledge of the whole Indian history and its transformation into modern society…

Warm, insightful and friendly guide! Highly recommend!
Our guide Zameer was incredible! He shared so many interesting facts about the history, architecture, and city of Agra and the surrounding area. But even more important that his knowledge, was his welcoming and warm demeanor. Zameer made our group feel welcome and like friends; he was kind, shared jokes and stories, and made our entire experience a complete delight. I cannot recommend him more!

Insightful, efficient, and professional
This was one of if not the best tours I've been on in over 30 years of my life. Our guide Zameer was extremely knowledgeable and it was clear he had a passion for history. He shared stories, insight, and was able to answer almost all the questions the group had. If he didn't know, he didn't make things up like most tour guides. This was a 10/10 experience. Highly recommend a tour with Zameer.

Great tour of Delhi-Mathura Vrindavan-Agra-Fatehpur Sikiri-Delhi
Great Trip! I went 4D3N trip with my family in December 2022 to Mathura-Vrindavan-Agra-Fatehpur Sikiri-Delhi. The trip was excellently planned by Faisal Siddiqui and not at all tiring. The driver Mr Khemchand Sharma ji was outstanding he was on-time in the entire trip, professional, safe and caring. Every place we had guided tours and everyone is professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the places. The trip to Taj Mahal was one of the great unique experiences that we had. Mr Zameer Khan as our tour guide to Taj Mahal has enhanced the experience of Taj with his professionalism, and knowledge of Taj. I highly recommend Zameer's services…

Only one you want to show you Agra
Review of our guide Zamir. It felt like became our friend in such a short period of time. He was extremely knowledgeable, honest, kind with his time, took us everywhere we wanted to go. Other guides have been pushy, and can sometimes try to hustle tourists, Zamir rather shared our experience with us, and helped Shepard us through Agra and gave us the best areas for pictures, foods, and momentos for the trip. If I come back or have relatives going to the area, they are getting the high recommendation to ask for Zamir.

An activity-filled day
We certainly got more than we expected with this tour! The day started when we got picked up from outside our accommodation in South Delhi by our driver in a comfortable SUV at 6am and we got on the road to Agra. The SUV was stocked with bottled water and snacks. Because of the fog we couldn't see a lot but there wasn't much traffic either…

Epic tour to Taj Mahal
Very comfortable vehicle and safe driving. Drivers English wasn't always able to be understood although this didn't alter the overall experience. Stopped for breakfast at place where food was nice but place a little average. Tour guide who showed us around Taj Mahal and Agra Fort was awesome - great English, got us through queues quickly and took great photos. Didn't like going to marble shop and declined another selling opportunity. Yummy lunch at restaurant on way home.
